AAPHD White Paper: Anti-Racism in Dental Public Health: A Call to Action Now AvailableThe AAPHD councils have produced a white paper in response to the events of the pandemic and the growing awareness of racism as a public health problem. In this white paper “Anti-Racism in Dental Public Health: A Call to Action”, each of the Councils - Scientific Information, Educational Affairs, Policy and Advocacy, and Practice – share their perspective on how dental public health can engage in anti-racist practices and outline action steps for AAPHD and the dental public health community to engage in. The aim of this paper is to engage dental public health professionals and supporters in recognizing racism as a problem and to find opportunities for collaboration to further anti-racist practices in dental public health.
